What does everybody think of him? Current WVU commit, 6'1, 185 pounds.

Saw him against South Dade and he gave Tyre Brady the business. He reminds me of a Seattle Seahwaks DB. Not just the dreads but the length and aggressive playing style.

He may not get into this class because it's so loaded, but he brings a dimension that Gunter has been giving us.

I feel you on that! Like Redwine's game. But that Silva is a must get! Looks like a monster.

Love his game, isn't afraid of contact, with his size, I would not mind if we offered him and D.Davis. T. McFadden and Frank Buncom IV would be my first options and Redwine, C. Davis and D. Davis would be my second group. This guy can ball though, my only questions would be what is his game speed like and does he have good DB feet.

I've known this kid for awhile and I don't like him at CB. He doesn't get a chance to play S because Killian has 2 pretty good safeties ahead of him. A definite plan B or C

The only issue I would have are his sparq testing of a 4.77 sec 40yd time and 4.74 sec Shuttle (he would have broken ankles playing against a slot receiver like Barrios). He did have a Power ball toss of 36ft which is good for a DB and he has a 36 inch vertical jump which is also good for his weight, it shows he can compete for the high point balls while having the strength to force it out.

I am hoping this kid just had a bad day in running the 40yd dash other wise he is a liability to get burnt deep often, consider this he would get out run to the corner of the endzone on a naked bootleg by QB Ryan Sunshine Stanley (4.6sec 40yd time) or even worse would be juked out of his cleats in open space by Stanley (4.5 sec shuttle time). Other than that I like his style of play and he would definitely need to play in a zone scheme.

But Swasey is known as the merchant of speed so maybe his failings can be coached up to some extent, Redwine does run a 10.9 100 meters which shows he can maintain his speed over distance.

Go Canes

I have no clue why this staff is even leaving this area for recruiting. Everyone comes here and finds so many diamond in the rough.

I get it, there are exceptional players all over but you should live by this area. If you have a great staff you can develop a lot of these 3 stars that are studs but only 3 stars because there are other exceptional players in the area. I agree the 2 you showed are really good but don't let kids like Khalid McGee from Miami NW get away cause of no offer.
