This will be really heartbreaking for many many people.

If people are looking for comparisons that might fit, think about Ayrton Senna. Maradona was an absolute hero at a time when the country was at its complete bottom, devastated because of the Falklands War and the only thing they had was him playing football and staying in Argentina for longer than expected because he loved to play in front of his people. In fact, he didnt play the game, he celebrated the game.

His legacy cannot be a forgotten memory because it simply is too big to forget.

One of the 20 greatest futbol players of all time. I'll never forget his goal against England! Absolutely a work of art!!! BUT drugs were always his major, major flaw, and his rough life (including his mistreatment of the women in his life) finally caught up with him. May Diego Armando Maradona RIP! My condolences to the family.

The guy definitely struggled with addiction in his life. It's so sad that he could never get past it. 60 is still too young. My condolences to his family.
