Love how it works out, all the other games will have been played by the time we kick off with the exception of the Big 10 which will be in Q4. Of course we want to win out, but I am going to be invested in every game that means something to our Plan B.

Oklahoma, ACC Champ from Miami/Clemson, and SEC champ from Bama/Auburn vs Georgia all make the playoff. I doubt Oklahoma loses to TCU in their Big 12 CG rematch.

What if Bama beats Auburn but loses a tight game to Georgia? 12-1 SEC runner-up versus 11-2 OSU Big 10 Champion?

OSU still needs help, even with wins over Michigan and Wisconsin. Look for Meyer to RUTS if given an opportunity.

It's more than that.

In reality—it's her job that sucks. Anyone who takes that gig with the four-letter network; you better stir the post and invite controversy—as that's what gets shares and sparks conversations.

Say she comes out and talks logic; everyone nods in approval and moves on.

Say something outlandish that is "controversial" and it gets folks riled up—sharing on social media, posting on message boards, et al.

ESPN is hurting. Anything that brings more attention to the network helps. This is the epitome of "all press is good press" for them.
