Now that the countdown is over - we will be posting a few old recruiting videos per day while we update the video library (as we edit them).

If you have any requests - let us know - and we can get those out first. We have 1999 - 2002, 2004 - 2005.

Today's videos are

Willis McGahee:

Crazy to think McGahee likely never plays RB here had it not been for the knee injury to Gore. That's the kind of stable of backs I want to get back to.

1) Thanks for posting these - they are a lot of fun to watch and debate.

2) How was Willis not ranked?

I had always heard that Portis got in his head (don't remember the whole story). But I thought his vid was up there with theirs, maybe not quite as good as Gore's. A couple of them - like the last run - reminded me of the 02 Willis.

A long time ago I remember reading that Portis would chirp at McGahee in practice whenever he fumbled, didn't pick up a blitz, or whatever. Saying stuff like, "You'll never take my spot", "You'll never be as good as me", "good backs don't fumble", etc.

Portis was always all over McGahee...not sure if it was just friendly or not, I've heard otherwise, but whatever...McGahee at one point was considering transferring.

In terms of suggestions, maybe a top busts video set? I'd like to see vids where the high school tape is ridiculously good but it did not translate. Thinking Wright, Moss, Forston, etc. I'd be interesting to see how they stack up to this list.

Thanks - it would be fun to compare the all hype team to the legends

I was having a discussion this morning at the gym about Gore, I believe he would have been the best back to every play at Miami if he stayed healthy. Does Miami win the title in '02 with a healthy Frank Gore?

i dont know if you are for scuba or not, but I will say that if we are playing that game, if Willis never gets hurt then that is the greatest back to ever play at Miami.
