Is this another arbitrative number like “6 ft” or is there rhyme/reason behind this change?

5 days is the first one that kind of makes sense. I was talking to some doctors at the beginning of this whole thing and when they were in school these flu type of diseases they were taught was a 4 day deal. Never understood the whole 10 day deal, but when it was my turn to get it the beginning of the year I played nice and did my time.

Is it like a “once your fever breaks you’re no longer contagious,” thing? Or is that just a general timeline they’re taught with respiratory airborne viruses?
