That video is stupid. Everyone knows your supposed to tackle high like Tyrone Shanningham taught our kids. When that doesn't work everyone knows your supposed to grab the other players hand warmer and hang on for dear life.

LMAO at our coaches thinking they know more about tackling than Randy did.
 
its sad that our coaches have to teach that at a college level... kids should already know this...

Maybe the NCAA requires schools do this training every year to prevent any head injury's.

Its also not a bad plug for Goldens camp. Any parent worries there kid gets a head injury and even if he spends 10 minutes a year to review, it shows good fundamentals.

They show everyone and tape in case someone sever tries to sue over getting injured while making a tackle. This way you have it on tape and showing the whole team.
 
Not a shot at Shannon, but a shot at high school coaches. Even Golden said it about Ray Ray that he needs to improve on his tackling and how he takes angles to make tackles.
 
It shouldn't really be a shot at anybody. It is the first thing they do. when golden speaks at a clinic, that is the first thing that he tells the audience. Teach proper tackling techniques to the whole team and put it on film. because at some point even the QB has to make tackle and in today's society you have to have all your bases covered when it comes to injuries.
