They keep getting more preposterous and triggered by the day.

From Trump, to China's misinformation campaign to the politics of a pandemic, journalism, one of the most important foundations of our society continues to be shredded beyond recognition.

The long lasting damage they are causing will be difficult if not impossible to recover from.

Invite everyone to post examples as they come across them.

What is the total deaths in the country. Is it 473 right. Just help me out. A population over 3 hundred million people. Unreal and 15 thousand world wide. I'm watching the numbers on the news. What is the problem.

From the article.

It’s unclear how many employees are working on the ventilators and which Tesla factory — it could be Buffalo, N.Y., Fremont, Calif., Sparks, Nev. or even Shanghai — has dedicated space to the project. The SpaceX facility is located in Hawthorne, Calif.

Musk didn’t describe what capacity would be or how long it might take to scale up such an endeavor. One Twitter follower recommended building one large ventilator with multiple branches and lines. Musk noted that a single computer, pump and pressure accumulator could do the job, but noted that individual valves per patient would be ideal.

Yup, but nowhere does it say months. That's just more doom and gloom worst case predictions.

So both parties wrote the Senate bill, but now it got voted down to add a bailout for USPS, aufits of election results, early voting requirements, same day registration, pay equity, board diversity, fed union worker pay for union activities, airline carbon emissions.

None of this should be in the bill. This us where a fair press would be holding their feet to the fire.

Dude really?

You are setting the bar for media conduct at Donald Trump?

Or media is supposed to be completely devoid of bias and bound by ethical standards much higher than any politician or individual.

This is whataboutism at it's pathetic worst.

Be better than this.
Dude really?

You are setting the bar for media conduct at *checks notes* Chris Cilliza, Nan Hayworth, Karen Carter Peterson, some guy with less than 500 followers named Adan Wachu who doesn't even have a blue check, and another dude named David Conderay whose own kids have to google him to find out who he is? Cilliza at best is the only media figure here, and he is a commentator where bias is understood. In the interest of fairness, if we're using commentators, why don't you pull up some pro-Trump tweets from the other side of the aisle since we're pointing out bias.

And correct me if I'm wrong, comparing Obama's H1N1 response -- something you've done countless times -- would be whataboutism at it's worse.

Be better than this.
