If Golden does build this back it looks like we're gonna have another major issue...this weak *** conference. FSU as not moved off 10 during all this "BCS shake up". We're either gonna have to go unbeaten or schedule big non conference games cuz right now the ACC is operating a step above the Big East. The fact that this team is in good position to play in the ACC championship says it all.

OP has a point. the ACC is putrid. hate this conference. you are as good as who you play against. we are sucked into the black hole that is teh ACC

VT will get better again. Assuming Miami gets back that makes 4 top 10 BCS potential teams. Think about how much a top ranked Miami and VT would have helped FSU, plus their out of conference with WVU. (Miami usually schedules challenging OOC games).

Miami getting back on top is obviously essential to the ACC. When bigger games are played in the ACC more talent will join the conference and the level of play all around will get better.

Didn't golden say he wanted an easier ooc schedule? If so our ooc will get easier which is not good. But Miami has what the big time programs have and that is name recognition. FSU (another school with name recognition) would be ranked one or two right now if they didn't lose to ncstate. Even with that horrible schedule of theirs they still were ranked top 5 til they lost. Miami would benefit from the same but I agree a tough ooc game or two would help greatly with how bad the ACC is.

Whose to say that two years from now the ACC won't be one of the top conferences? This **** is cyclical.

Miami, FSU, Va Tech, Clemson at the top could be strong as **** in two years.

Promise you FSU would be ranked #1 right now if they hadn't choked on a **** against NCST.
