... could've shaved off about 1,500 words at the end, but had to go after Andrea Adelson for her weak-*** hit piece on how Miami handled the process with Diaz, Cristobal and Radakovich—where she worked in the phrase "rotten culture" three times in two paragraphs—weeks after a glowing piece about the 2001 team.

These writers LOVE talking about the Canes' past glory and praising that team—but the about face by this Gators writer; the true colors are showing now that Miami is "back" in the sense of building a championship-chasing program, with nine figures behind it.

Same for other writers who harped on Miami's "process" and trashed it, but said ZERO about how Riley bailed OU for USC (the day after Bedlam, meaning they'd been talking for weeks behind the scenes) or Kelly bailing a one-loss Irish squad and waltzing into Baton Rouge with a fake accent.

Only egregious when Miami does it—and the Canes are again a THREAT, instead of a nostalgia play and corner-cutting program.

They scared.

Great artiicle Chris.

I started a post last week and I stated then as I will now that CFB and the media have either fear or excitement about Miami's return. The great thing about being a Miami fan is Miami is the only team where you either love or hate. There is no on the fence.

I don’t love what Espn’s David Pollack said about the Mario hire. Article is on 247 sports google Miami Hurricanes news.

Pollack went to UGA, played under Richt. was pro cane till mark left then pretty much anti- cane Pollack is in the who cares category as well as Addelson.... both are at ESPN and were not really that networks favorite

Nice article.

For future reference, “it’s” is a contraction of it is. The possessive is “its” with no apostrophe.

Fantastic article! Best encapsulation of what has transpired in the last few weeks by a country mile.
