Not new news, but Larkin reiterated yesterday he's not going pro and will he back for his junior year.

He should dominate while being the focal point of the offense.

He's going to be looking at constant double teams all year.

And?

Just saying, big difference between being surrounded by Kadji and Scott as opposed to Rion Brown and a bunch of freshmen.

Yup, if we have any chance of being decent, Shane needs to lead the team in assists and the country in "secondary assists" where his pass leads directly to an assist from a teammate.

Clearly it will be Shane's team next year. Is Garrius Adams back next year?

Yes Garrius should play a major role next year.

heres to hoping.

When has Adams been anything other than a JAG?

Doesn't change the fact that we need him next year. It's not like we're bringing in the Fab Five.

If Adams is playing a major role next year we are in really bad shape.

I'll hope for the best with the kid when he's back. Larranga can couch. Look what he's managed to get out of Gamble. Hopefully we will see a similar improvement out of Adams. As one of 6 players coming with any game experience coming back, believe it or not we need him.

Not necessarily. I think he can be a 6th man, average 5-7 ppg.

Answer getting less and less "firm"

UM sophomore Shane Larkin’s stock has risen so much in the past month that he has been having to field questions about whether he plans to leave for the NBA after this season. He said he is following the guidance of his father, baseball Hall of Famer Barry Larkin.

“With all the questions that have come in, I just go to him and ask him what he thinks about it,” he said. “Right now, I’m really just focused on the tournament. He hasn’t put any pressure on me on which decision to make. He wants me to focus on winning these games with my teammates because that’s the most important thing right now.’’
