Joe Yearby without of doubt was one of the best RB's this year in the nation and due to injury, His national perception took a few hits and many are not even talking about him as a gem for this class. How does he impact this team in 2014? I hope he plays a huge role because i cant take another Dallas and Gus thunder and thunder campaign. #DALE

5-7 touches a game ....slowly bring him along...if he goes all Duke and takes over games that changes...

no way he's getting 10 a game. 5-7 sounds good. 10 means Crawford and gus get very few touches each. gotta win but keep people happy and give carries to those who deserve it.

would think a similar role to when Gore was a freshman... as long as he doesn't fumble, he's gonna get a lot of burn if he's healthy!

Also depends on Gus's development, if he doesn't improve, Yearb will pass him..

And don't see Crawford as much of a factor unless the other 2 have problems holding on to the ball

Hopes he redshirts this year. Crawford and Gus should be able to do enough behind Duke. It would give him enough time to completely heal from his ankle injury and add a few pounds.

Late game burn when game is out of hand. Duke and Gus will see most of the action. He's been ridin' around on that scooter for awhile, and is behind in his leg development. Let him get a few touches here and there to shake the cobwebs off, but keep him well protected and fresh.

if he's healthy, he plays. he will probably be the featured back next year, so, no chance he redshirts. he didn't enroll early to redshirt. barring injury, no chance.

Not enough depth to shirt him this season. Duke/Crawford/Gus isn't enough

Days of redshirting a high-caliber back are history. If develop, they're only staying 3 years, anyway.

He may only get 5-7 touches a game, but when he's in he'll be used just like Duke is. And I don't think that's a bad thing. Bring him in when Duke needs a rest and the offense doesn't skip a beat.

No chance you redshirt him. Duke has been a workhorse for two years and Yearby can instantly ease the load for him.

he is going to allow us to do some serious stuff this coming year. We have 3 guys returning with significant playing time. One, in Crawford, who will probably see his minutes go down, but he will pick it up on special teams:), guy was a beast two years ago. Love to see yearby take a few snaps from Duke, not the other two. Hope Gus take some snaps from Crawford, especially in shortage situations.

Also, what about a duke yearby back field, they both can run routes, WOW!!!

Only chance that he redshirts is if he doesn't come back 100% from this injury.

Besides that, I want this kid getting touches from Day 1.

This is why we did not get Cook or Sony, they will both play at lot where their going. Cook may even start by mid year for fsu. Sony will work behind those two juniors who are gone after this year, and will be by himself next year.

Nic Chubb is a stud and is just as good as Sony..
