Prior to Mario, we've always gotten mostly scraps from IMG. Essentially, IMG was an SEC pipeline with an occasional raid from OSU or Clemson. Since he's come he's pulled in:

2022
  • Skinner
2023
  • Williams
  • Mauigoa
  • Wayne
and we're in the running for several others in upcoming classes (monitor with the 2024 IMG Key Recruit Tracker thread)

Realistically, it can never been a total pipeline like Northwestern or Central, but can we get to the point we're we're consistently pulling 2-3 elite recruits from IMG every year?

In any case, something big appears to be brewing up there today

There is some peer recruiting going on with Miami and Top247 wide receiver Carnell Tate. Him and Jaden Rashada developed a relationship and the Hurricanes triggerman is actively working on him. So is Francis Mauigoa, Riley Williams, and Jayden Wayne who are his teammates now. It doesn’t sound like Tate is communicating much with Miami staffers but there is a player-led effort in case Tate does decide to move around. It sounds like something similar is happening with Oregon and Dante Moore who he is close with. It might worth monitoring Tate to see if Rashada and his current teammates' efforts eventually lead to a visit.

IMG is absolutely loaded. How many 5 stars in this class alone?

Building a pipeline from IMG sounds great but it's easier said than done. Most of their kids aren't from Florida. A lot of them play two or three years out of state before transferring to IMG late. We've been able to land Williams, Mauigoa and Wayne because they were all west coast kids that Mario had been recruiting at Oregon for years. If you wait for these kids to transfer to IMG before you recruit them, you're already way behind the game.
