💯

and sit our bum *** DTs and have Scott out there as our only DT because he was a 5 star in HS and that's the only thing that matters.

Why do we have some of the dumbest fans?

I posted couple times early in January you’d see some under center with this offense and more focus on te’s , people lost it lol.

I love the old school mix in. A lil off subject, but Belichek killed the Rams with the FB trap in the SB. Play probably hadn’t been run in the NFL in 20yrs. Genius. I’d love to see the Canes roll that out with Lofton toting the rock. Mario would prob bust a n*t if it went for a TD. Dial it up against FSU. Cooper mauling an overly aggressive DT and Lofton off to the races. I’ll shut up now…

Lol Idk why some of our fans here cry about it and don't wanting to go under center. It's so successful esp with the players we have.

I used to be a big spread guy for almost two decades but the last couple years I see you need a mixture , having a multiple offense is the best way to go. You have options.

If you play a team weak up front you can mash them and if they have a weak secondary you can spread them out exposing that area. There’s also short yardage / goal line and the play action game. Nothing ****es me off more than short yardage situations and a team goes shotgun. It’s idiotic. Why would you hand the ball to a back standing still four yards behind the los. Let him build up steam going downhill?

Everything always comes full circle and I believe teams realize this now. It’s ok to be finesse at times but at the end of the day physicality and the trenches wins championships.

Dawson started doing it last year and I distinctly remember you and I both losing our ****

Because the shotgun formation on 3rd or 4th and inches remains the stupidest ******* playcall in the world and everyone does it

Sometimes these ***** think they’re so much smarter than they’re. Why would want to be fourth and inches when you can make it fourth and 3 1/2 in shotgun ? It’s lunacy.

I love under center, especially if you want to have a better run and play action attack. But you need balance and not to be too predictable.

For the record, I got no problem with under center snaps & running the ball.

Just don't do it when it's not working.

That's always ever been my only gripe. Don't force it when it's not there.

I’m a spread guy, always will be so I’ll admit that bias. But my issue with under center has always been forcing your qb to turn his back to the defense on PA, and I think our offensive lines have been too dog**** to trust that for decades. I think we’re past that. Still prefer more of an offset-I pistol formation to allow your back to get a bit more downhill, but that’s just me being stubborn I’m sure.

Yeah it’s like anything. You can run a spread offense and still be dusty. You can run an i formation offense and be creative as ****

There’s no one way to do it but like ****…stop square pegging a round hole

That Fletcher run for a touchdown also felt eerily familiar to some things I saw when watching Oregon State games, have to imagine we’ll see more Martinez carries from under center formations, I don’t know if the numbers back it up but felt like he was more consistent when OSU went under center.

Yeah it’s like say last year right…when Cam McCormick would come into the game everyone knew it was a run. If you go under center and run it up the middle every time then what are we doing?

Florida let Cam go on his TD catch and he snuck through the middle wide open

But if you’re adding some wrinkles you can turn something basic into something awesome. Kyle Shanahan is sort of a rainbow example but watching the things he does from a handful of the same formations, and how little tweaks go a long way
