CE, I wasn't negatively recruiting against our own guys, I was just talking football facts.

If these kids and/or families are going to make a decision based off what we say on a message board, then consider me shocked because a lifetime changing decision shouldn't have ANYTHING to do with what we're discussing on the CIS board.

You get my point amigo. Let's give the staff the benefit of the doubt. They are both from the Saban tree, and as mentioned, after 2015, while Gattis was on staff, Saban took the whole staff to visit with Herman in Houston, and implemented their current explosive WR-friendly offense which they had Lane Kiffin running. Again, even with mediocre QB's and WR's last year, Gattis' 2021 offense was #2 in explosive plays over 50 yards. These guys aren't dumb. They understand its 2022 and that they have an elite QB room. They are surely explaining this 10x to recruits.

Not like that. He just said there were some areas to improve and a consensus with the area is that his toughness is questioned at times. I thought our board overhyped him. I remember someone comparing him to Randy Moss. I don’t think he’s that. He’ll need some development but he is still a really talented prospect
