How in the **** does the whole Co-Defensive coordinator thing work anyway?

I think they do it in a 69 position. Any experts out there for further comment?

Seems like Clemson and their “co-coordinators” are working fine.

Both coordinators install the defense but only one calls the plays. I’m assuming Banda is the play-caller.

Without reading this thread I’m assuming Banda is going to be calling the plays on game day and Patke will be involved with overall prep and game planning.

Clemson has done this for many years on the offense side of the ball. Many teams across the nation are going this route. Yes...even Bama.

It’s very common in college. We don’t really know how much input these two had in game-planning with Manny. They may be great at breaking down teams tendencies and putting together a plan. Patke May focus on front 7 and Banda on the back-end. One will have to be calling the plays.

We are all getting so upset, but our D was amzothos year and we don’t know what a change would have brought.

I’m really more worried about Richt’s offends than having Bamda keep our D and call the plays.
