I was referring to traditional R donors, but to go from Andrew Yang to Desantis is quite telling. Also, a Texas seat flipped yesterday that had been D for over 40 years.

Two years from now in 2024, Trump -- like me -- will be 78. Biden will be 81. Like Trump and Biden claim, I'm also thankful to be in good health.

That aside, IMO no one in their late 70s or 80+ should be elected President. I guess there can be the rare exception, but there's really no way you have the energy and stamina at those advanced ages to do the job justice. Not to mention mental deficits. Can't this country find candidates in the prime of their lives, or at least closer to that point?
