That plant is currently inoperable and a private company is taking over repair so they can sell whats left of the remaining reserve. Government is getting out of the helium business and passing the baton to private industry since they mismanaged it so bad and need explorers to find new reserves.
And then there's the prospect on nuclear fusion using Helium-3 from the moon.
