I can speak to that. The original Healthcare.gov team was a contractor within CMS - a Canadien company. Once it was determined that the platform was crap, a team of WH and other department all stars came in and fixed it in a couple of weeks. This uses USPS as the delivery platform, as it should. No one has a better catalog of locations in the USA than them.

I used to work on the SW for a subcontractor to USPS... so I know all about their databases (well, I know a lot more than I care to). One thing I have to say is... they are a mess and if you know anything about VMS, they used to create their databases for certain SW on that type of machine! LOL!

But their databases that they use for their online platform is probably way better than what we used to use. Just a guess... well, actually a hope!

Sadly there are a lot of people who think it’s free or they can bump the tax on some rich guy not paying taxes. Also a lot of people don’t understand if you increase taxes on businesses then that gets passed on to the public. Probably the majority of people.

I still don’t get it why this antibody test, which just tells you if you have antibodies, is very useful.

Most people are vaccinated and they will probably have some level of antibodies. If you had Covid a month before you took the test, it will probably turn out positive.

So what are you actually getting from this test?

Just going to be a ton of false positives.

And the test is not free. What is this mask and test distribution costing? Billions? Who the fūck do you think pays for this?

Anyone receive their government tests yet? It will be three weeks on Tuesday. I ordered mine… not cause I want them, but to see how long it would take to get them… on day1. Doesn’t surprise me at all. Now that it’s February the need for tests is super low too. Loving this reactive instead of proactive administration at work
