It's rather amazing when you think about it. All of Georgia's rivals and neighbors have won national championships during the modern era, but Georgia can't get over the hump. From memory:

Alabama - 6
Miami - 5
FSU - 3
Florida - 3
LSU - 2
Clemson - 2
Tennessee - 1
Auburn - 1
Georgia Tech - 1

Just look at that. All the major schools surrounding UGA have a title to their credit. Even Georgia Tech has one. For this to have happened to Georgia is so unlikely that it is almost comical. Georgia fans are some of the absolute worst in all of college football, so I'd like to see this unlucky streak continue for another 40 years or so.
