**** Butkus, Ray Lewis, Lawrence Taylor

**** was the nastiest and most feared ever. QBs are still peeing in their beds thinking of LT. I think Ray might be the best all around mlb ever, although The Stork made countless game changing plays, especially on ST. Ted was a couple decades ahead of his time. Today, he would be best speed rush DE in the game or finest old in a 3/4.

There was another guy, Mike Curtis of the old Colts who was maybe meanest ever. He personally ended a fad of streakers running into the field.

I thought LT played DE.

Now that I think about it, Ham was a damned good LB too.

Even some of the later guys can make a top 10 argument
Willis
Harrison
Ware
Possibly even Kuechly

Ray Lewis is the best defensive player ever, any position. Not just because of what he did during live action, but equally or moreso because of what he did between live action. He was the best leader and motivator and at MLB led the best defense ever, no disrespect to the ‘85 Bears, who I grew up rooting for.
