I'm getting so tired of people going to comedic events and getting upset when a joke is about them.

If you can only laugh about others....BUT not about yourself, then PLEASE PLEASE! do us ALL a favor and keep your sensitive, humorless *** at home.

It's just a joke dammit!!

Being told by someone who's being paid to be there to entertain by saying things that most of us find funny.

Glad Chappelle is ok, he's one of the GOATs. I love standup and comedy in general and loathe this climate we're in now where nobody can take joke without looking for a reason to get offended. Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will ******* kill me, apparently.

His segment about men and women and chivalry will be remembered for a long time. Not just because of this meme:

but also because women first booed him and later on laughed and clapped after he explained what he meant.

The dude is awesome. I was introduced to him at a very young age with his show and subtitles and I loved it. Am glad the dude got his payment by Viacom after all.

His skit comedy is legendary to me, and Chappelle's Show occurred at the right time in my life. Now that I'm older I appreciate his stand up much more and as @Go Canes!! mentioned, he's one of the most socially relevant comedians ever. His stand up has opened my eyes to issues and perspectives I otherwise may not have considered nor been aware of.

And he goes after EVERYBODY.

The guy who attacked Dave,

I wouldn’t be surprised if they comeback saying he has a broken orbital and a dislocated elbow.

Kudos to his security for preventing something that could have been a lot worse.

Did anyone notice how weak the tackle was , he pulled up and fell into the hit it looked like a publicity stunt.
