DT: Renato Brown - 9/12/17 (247 | ESPN | Scout | hudl | Twitter | Offer)

Breaking: '19 DT Brown Commits to Miami

Breaking: '19 DT Brown Commits to Miami The Hurricanes have picked up a pledge from a local lineman.
Andrew Ivins

Palm Beach Central three-star defensive tackle Renato Brown has given a verbal pledge to Miami.

Brown informed InsideTheU on Tuesday that he committed to the Hurricanes after speaking with Mark Richt.

"I just got done talking with Coach Richt," Brown said. "We were texting all throughout [Hurricane Irma]. Today is my mom's birthday and I told her that my present to her was that she wasn't going to have to pay for college."

Brown, who also holds early offers from Tennessee, Rutgers, Florida and South Carolina amongst others, played primary offensive tackle last season at Oxbridge Academy. He transferred to Palm Beach Central this past summer and has spent most of the time chasing the opposing quarterback.

"They want me on the defensive line. I mean why not Miami? Just with the tradition and everything I feel like it's the place for me."

Might want to consider this kid, yeah he is my son but has gotten contacts from Ole Miss and Penn State so he is good enough. Plus I used to live down there and had season tickets for 12 years!

OL: Kingsley Eguakun - 1/12/18 (247 | ESPN | hudl | twitter)

In-state OL commits to Miami Hurrricanes
SPORTS By Rolando Rosa - Diehards

The Miami Hurricanes picked up a commitment on the offensive line for the Class of 2019.

Mark Richt’s trip to Jacksonville resulted in Atlantic Coast offensive guard Kingsley Eguakun verbally committing to Miami, according to 247Sports reporter Andrew Ivins.

“Miami was the best decision for me academically and the program has a great history,” Kinglsey said to 247Sports.

The 6-foot-3, 293-pound Eguakun is a 3-star prospect according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Eguakun also had offers from Louisville and UAB.

Miami now has eight commits in the Class of 2019. Miami’s Class of 2019 is currently ranked No. 1 in the ACC and No. 6 in the nation.

Its gonna be special again. But that don't take no genius to see. The only question will be between Daniel Carter and how nayquan comes back this year. As of now id say mcintosh & Carter but for face Noah Cain is very much in play here...
Isnt crowley in it? Kids already committed. Do you think we take 3? The hodges kid looks kinda like an H back prospect also, not a pure TE.
thats my question also. how many do you think we taking? between Crowley(already committed) Cain, Wright, Carter, & Mcintosh. also, no mention of Sanders from IMG, guess he's a long shot? Brooklyndee
‘19 is going to have to be a class long on OL, DL, LBs and medium on DBs. We will take 2-3 WRs also (1 committed and multiple offers out). Hard to see us taking more than 2 rbs. We took 2 + a fb and 2 TEs in ‘18. My guess is 2 + the hybrid kid + a typical TE in ‘19. Only thing is McIntosh could come as an athlete rather than RB, which would free up a spot.

My bad yall. I completely forgot about Crowley( & i like his game) trey you never know. But if i had to guess if say hell end up in the sec somewhere. He does like us though. I just think at the end off the day hell be a real tough pull. Have to see how nkosi looks. It'll only be 2 again unless Crowley we feel can play different positions as well.

I remember months ago you mentioned on here “its great to be a cane” regarding nayquan. It’ll be fun to see who we end up with at RB regardless. Seems like we’re in it with the top tier talents we want.
