We seriously need to drop our bat contract with Toys R Us!! It's downright painful to watch the Canes at the plate!! Morris has to be on the clock!
 
**** down 1-0 going to the 3rd in game two. It's going to be pretty tough to come back from that far down with our bats.
 
If we even had an avg offense we'd be **** tough to beat in Fri/Sat night games between Diaz and BRad

Oh well, we always have high school baseball in soFla, which is as good it gets at that level, and I believe
Miami-Dade CC is top5 in the country.
But, yeah, UM and Marlins are horrible...although I'm glad the Marlins suck (hopefully they leave the city).

Man **** that! the city is in debt for the next 40 yrs. I just want Loria to bounce and someone who has deep enough pockets to build a winner. I mean we tore down the OB to build it. At the very least we need the Marlins to be perennial playoff contenders to some how justify it.

Ummm what? tearing down the ******* stadium and to whom? every Miamian footing the bill for that stupid ******* stadium.
 
On another note the pitching has been great as of late, credit where credit is due. If a few hitters can come around the season may be salvagable.

aside from most of the bullpen, this has been commonplace the last 3 or 4 seasons. You would think that would be the case, but bad defense mixed with no bats= very low probabilty to win.

agree, I just have little interest in UM baseball because I know how much we suck, and it simply isn't that entertaining. now if we were 38-2 with freshman sensations like UNC, I'd probably watch most of the games, as opposed to hardly.

Our defense is a bit better in the infield this year, maybe only thing different. Dale Carey is having one of most disappointing seasons of anyone I've seen since following UM athletics.
 
If Carey could hit 275 with his great fielding he could be a high draft pick. Dude is hitting like 140. Its crazy.

Nice to get to see a UM game on tv up in DC... offense looks good today. What do we have 6 or 7 hits already? 4-0
