The quotes "some kids want to get away" or "his gf goes to this school so he won't come here" the quitters talk. If your an elite HC u can convince someone not to go to their dream school ... This is a real staff who will go after anyone relentlessly the way u should.
I don't need a "like" or an "agree" reaction for this post.

I need an "AMEN"

Bro we been so down and with coaches who don't know to recruit with the big guys we become numb and convince these kids just wanna go away or whatever else instead of being on their *** everyday, showing up at random practice 2 times a day, calling the parents. And having that push come from the top. Not some unnamed grad assistants.
Now we see what big boy recruiting is when u tell UGA and Bama to f off and find players in redneckville. We want him, u get the leftovers. We had coaches who had thin skins. In their feelings if kids posted bad about Miami on social media. Soft and that's what we saw on the field. Now we got savages and dont you doubt they will bring it to the field and everywhere in the program

And then we got some fans and certainly media members defending these bum-*** corches when others of us are rightfully letting 'em have it for doing their jobs poorly.

Can't stand that crap.

Don't like catching ****?

He was saying in interviews that he wanted to leave the state. No interest at all in staying home. Why is it so shocking the old staff didn't make him a priority when there are so many other talented WRs in 2023?
Don’t believe what is said by kids in interviews…..

When a local 5 star DE says he wants to go OOS, a competent staff will keep recruiting him until NSD. When a local recruit ranked as the 54th best WR in the country (and 13th best WR in the state) literally tells a reporter that he has zero desire to stay in S Florida, then a competent staff will move on to another WR. The staff only has a limited amount of time and resources to recruit. Why in the **** would you think it's a good idea to waste valuable time on a mid-tier local WR recruit who has publicly stated he doesn't want to play for Miami?

If he has a change of heart and personally reaches out to UM to say he wants to stay home, then great, welcome him with open arms and put him back on the recruiting list. If not, move the f#ck on to another WR who is interested. You and some others have Diaz Derangement Syndrome (DDS). He's gone. Let it go. Not everyone on his staff was incompetent. Likens is a good WR coach and evaluator. If he wasn't recruiting him hard, he likely had other targets in mind (like in 2022 when he got K. Smith out of San Diego) that were interested in playing for UM.
