The bracket is up (see below). I believe we have a favorable match-up and we owe Stanford a good raping.
We open with Stanford who has a new coach (Jerod Haase) this season. Last season they went 15–15 (8–10) and they fired Dawkins. They lost their best player (Rosco Allen) this off season.
Winner of that game will play the winner of Indiana State v. Iowa State. I don't see how Indiana State wins that game but stranger things have happened.
Iowa State made the sweet 16 last year. They went 23-12 (10-8). They lost their best player Georges Niang and Abdel Nader, everyone knows those two. They also lost Jameel McKay (11 PPG and 9 RPG) as well. They still have Monte Morris.
The winner of that game will play the winner of Gonzaga/Quinnipiac v. Seton Hall/Florida.
