Needs to learn how to wrap up. Way too many big plays resulted from him just trying to make a big hit

He has been the most disappointing player on defense this year

No others have been more disappointing.

McLoud is the weak link on the defense. Time to start Owens

    He was horrid yesterday.

Shaq seems to get swallowed up a bit.

I know I'm an asshole for suggesting this but I would like to see Pinckney at MLB.

I'm most surprised by his poor play out of an overall very disappointing group. FSU didn't do anything fancy to stretch them out in space yesterday or "trick" them. They just overran plays, got sucked in, and generally couldn't finish tackles. Diaz needs to help them out, too. It's on him to simplify. And, then it's on them to execute.

His missed tackles are killing us... I swore he was gonna a be our best lb this year..... Glad I'm not a coach

His awareness has been terrible and now he not even getting it done physically. Dude needs to step it up or they need to drop Amari Carter down there since Diaz likes to run base defense against 3 and 4 wr sets smh

The LBs were blowing assignments left and right. They're not tackling well, overpursuing causing huge chunks of yards to be given up. This group received a lot of hype after last year rightfully so. They are playing worse this year than last.

Pinkney is the best blister by far... But where he lacks is coming off blocks... Very few tackles when he gets of a block.... In the middle very rare to get a clean shot because there is always someone blocking and holding in order for you to get a tackle. You put Mike in the Middle and he is no longer the Fan Favored... Not an asshole... that's your opinion. Watching on TV or in the stands you can't see the **** going on during a play... Shaq has scratches... claw marks on his back... his neck... his ankles from cut blocks... ankles hurt because OL grabbing his feet from the bottom of the pile... It does bother me from time to time when the experts share the opinions and don't know all the details going on... They all need to rap up... a tackle in the back field is a lot better than a hit stick 8 yards down field. Shaq's back looks like a run away slave from all the scathes. I watch him on every play and notice what he has to go through play after play... And the game I fear the most is GT because on every running play... their blocking scheme will start with him "MIKE ZERO" and they will be trying to cut him on every play... A big difference from the LBs this year as compared to last year... Last year teams thought they could expose them... This year they are being game planned against.

Overall, our LBs have been horrible. Starters and reserves. Only guy who is consistently good this year is Pinck.

We're missing way too many tackles and over-pursuing and leaving wide open gaps in the defense. McCloud has been the worst, by far, of our starters. Super disappointing.

If our LBs play like this against GT, they will never punt, and we will get about 5 offensive possessions.

I don't believe they are playing as a unit, everyone just trying to be the guy that makes the play.

Never understood the hype. Didn’t make many plays last year.

Right now, Shaq and 53 are worlds behind 56.

Need them to step up in a big way.

Everyone understands that playing linebacker at the University of Miami is a physically demanding job.

Bottom line is the group needs to start playing better.

    Nothing personal, just be better.

Everybody and their brother missed tackles yesterday.

FSU runners going through our line reminded me of playing pinball.
No, I'm not a proctologist, but I know an asshole when I see one. No, I'm not a gynecologist, but I will take a look.

Idk if Owens would do much better. I will say Owens has been exceptional at sniffing out screens and blowing them up
