    Congrats to Collins.

He's had a great career here and will be a very good hitter at the next level

Little side note, don't worry about Colton Welker leaving for the league. He's from a very wealthy family and before his father passed from cancer he made sure that his family would be taken care of. I would be shocked if he decided to go pro.

Jesus is another story but there's been rumors around Springs(Stoneman Douglas is "located" in parkland but is mostly attended by kids on the north end of Coral Springs) that his UCL tore because of steroid use.

My Bosox got a steal in groome.

Congrats to Collins , he'll be a good hitter. Not sure about catcher though.

They'll move him to first base.

Really good to know that about Colton. We have a huge hole at SS with Lopez leaving. Given that our other SS commit Curbelo is almost a lock to go pro, Colton can come here and start from day 1

As a Canes and White Sox baseball fan, this draft pick is bitter sweet.

I love Collins; I think he's going to be great...HOWEVER, the White Sox are in turmoil and we have the worst front and bottom office in baseball. Chris Sale, Jose Abreu, Adam Eaton, Todd Frazier, Jose Quintana...all are being wasted here. I don't wanna see a Cane go through this. Plus we manage our assets horribly (see Trayce Thompson and Fernando Tatis Jr). I hope by the time Collins is ready to come up, at least Ventura is gone, but pray and hope Williams and Hahn are right with them.

They have even more talent than we did in 2008. Louisville might as well.

But remember, FSU won the 2008 CWS as a Cinderella 4 seed. Anything can happen.

FSU never won the CWS unless you are talking about Fresno St. Sorry but on this board there is usually only one FSU talked about

Our 1998 team was loaded and didnt win it and then the 99 team not as talented won it. If I had to make a prediction I would go with Lville to win it all this year, won't have to play UF or Texas A & M until the championship series.

Really wish there were restrictions to kids going straight from high school, college baseball would be way better
