Miami is entering the soft stretch of the OOC slate, there isn't much between now and conference play, as is the custom EVERY SINGLE YEAR. Miami would have been fine had they picked up an additional win at the Advocare Invitational, but that didn't happen. Would have loved for Coach L to have gotten another decent team mixed in this month, but Miami has already played four power conference teams at this point of the season. That said, a trip to Philly to play someone like LaSalle or somebody would have been a boost.

Going into ACC play with a triple digit RPI is going to make it tough to get into the NCAAT.

Miami wins 10 games in the ACC, and this won't matter. As was stated before, an additional win in the Advocare would have been huge, especially with Florida looking to be a team with some potential in the SEC. That said, there will be plenty of opportunities for Miami to pick up some wins in conference play. If Miami can manage to hold serve at home, and beat the teams they are supposed to on the road, they will be in good shape. I expected this team to be a bubble team going in, and that's where they most likely will end up, especially if the freshmen continue to grow up.

I think there are a couple of arguments here. Play a tough(er) non conference schedule. The team doesn't find its identity and we lose a bunch of games in the process. Or take a hit in non conference schedule and hope it translates into a more cohesive team later.

We showed we're all over the place at times against our few quality opponents. Who knows though if the current path is helping.

I'm sticking with my prediction of needing 2 ACCT wins to get in the NCAAT.

I wish the Wake Forest coach would have kicked your ass.

I'm going by ESPN and we were over 100. Didn't we agree last year that was more accurate?

If we're using Warren Nolan, our RPI is #79 after FAU, so I'll use both now
