jamal carter brother

I don't think he has an offer yet but the staff has already mentioned to him about how great it would be to play with his brother. The question is whether he is going to be a LB or safety. I think he is a LB
 
With limited spots at LB for 2015 I am thinking a better option for the style of defense UM runs is 2015 LB Cameron Smith. He plays with a bad intentions and has a high Football IQ which compensates for his lack of speed. An the best part is he has interest in UM and is under evaluation, time for B Carrol to reel in a Cali kid.

we are not limited at spots for LB. we will bring in 3
 
We will reduce roster by 3 this year and 3 next year , an additional 3 the year after that . So how do you figure we are not going to have limited spots at LB.

@ 5xNC what exactly is funny about me mentioning potential mutual interest between UM and the nations No 4 ILB for the 2015*class?

Actually I rarely thread jack, in this case I was mentioning another option at LB that would most likely get an offer before Jamal Carter's . It was intended to supplement not redirect.

did the kid say he has interest in UM? I want to see it. that kid isn't coming here. stop w/ this mutual interest crap b/c the kid mentions academics and would be a great fit according to you.

and I actually like the kid's tape, but, if that 4.9 is "accurate", it's more like a 5.1. and I don't think he fits what we are looking for. he's too big and slow. kid does look like a good fb player though.

LOL!!!! you are going off those sites and lists? this is a joke. there are 20 teams listed. that means nothing. get me an article that says he has an offer and has UM in his top 5-10. otherwise this is stupid.
 
just watch Jamal bro film...kid is impressive...

Looks like a Randy Shannon linebacker....to me he is like Jermaine Grace...great sideline to sideline speed and instinct..but when he makes contact guys go down...could be a nice will linebacker prospect

Like people don't change topics mid-thread around here....so many degenerate into squabbles and attacks back and forth, after a while, it has nothng to do with the original subject. At times I thnk I'm reading two separate threads at once.

I'm really interested to see how we use Grace going forward. It would be a shame to only get him in for nickel situations like we did McCord this year.
