2018 dual-threat QB Jarren Williams says Miami has offered

Jarren Williams (6'3", 201 pounds), a dual-threat QB in the 2018 class from Lawrenceville, GA, says he was offered by Miami this morning. Looks like a really impressive athlete with a big arm and a high ceiling. Williams is a three-star recruit who verbally committed to Kentucky back in June.

Seems clear to me Richt wants a dual-threat QB. Other than Sitkowski, all of our top targets are DT guys.

He wants someone who can move if they have to. Sitkowski can move if he has to

The runs at 2:21 and 5:42 show impressive glimpses of his athleticism. Pass-first dual-threat QB who can also scoot.

Kid goes to the school I went to back in the day. He's a beast and there are a lot of good QBs in Gwinnett this year but he's #1 at the moment imo. He's actually better than Chase Brice who is currently committed to Clemson.

Kid is definitely worthy of an offer.

Good thing is is with QB's they commit early...Should know fairly early who we get

He already has a very mobile QB in Kaaya.

Not only that, but Williams is more than worthy of being a top priority for the 2018 class. Greatly prefer Williams to Sitkowski.

I like Williams better than that Vegas kid. Bishop Gorman kids look a lot better than they really are because they have better talent than many of their competitors.

Agreed.

Wonder how many top programs are trying to flip Williams from Kentucky considering how much he continues to impress. Hope our staff makes a serious run at him for obvious reasons.
