Official QB Jaden Rashada: COMMITS… & then Flips to the gator… & then the gator welches on the payments so he doesn’t enroll and rescinds NLI

Have any of our insiders heard anything different in regards to Rashada after UF’s booster tweets last night?

Indeed. Has to be nightmare for coaches and roster management with keeping your current players happy as well as they can transfer out at any time.

I believe Oregon already tried on Rashada. Not to say they couldn't come back with something else. Looks like they are hard after Moore now though.

Rashada may visit as that only helps him with negotiations. Still believe he ends up at UF if the deal of 1.5 million is on the table. Can’t see us matching that for a most likely backup QB. In addition, that also causes us to raise the other players deals on the table to keep everyone happy.

Doubtful unless Nico doesn’t live up to the hype. Tennessee is desperate to be relevant again. In addition, it’s not like their state is producing high quality talent at an acceptable rate. They’re going to have to spend to get decent players to come from other places.

This. Still believe he ends up at Florida. 1.5 million a year for a unproven high school QB is outrageous. Hopefully it bites them and Tennessee in the ***.

This was almost a 10 win team with Sylvester running things. Outside of Clemson and A&M we should be favored in the rest of our games. Defense should be much better. Things break our way 10-11 wins is possible.

Covid had a hand in that. Kids not able to take visits and parents more fearful sending their kids off to college.

Indeed, I’m sure players are waiting to see how Gattis’s offense looks along with year one progress Mario makes. In addition, waiting out all the NIL options they’ll have available up until signing day.

Yeah, hopefully TN crashed and burns for that nonsense. Complete desperation move by them.

UF is definitely more desperate for a QB at this point. As many others have said don’t mind passing on Rashada as long as we use the excess funds on the trenches or WR.

I could definitely see UF throwing some stuff out there to make it seem like they are beating us head to head for a guy rather then us going in a different direction due to not wanting to break the bank for a guy. That obviously helps their image as they recruit additional players against us.

Definitely not first time. Have seen this same sh*t every year. You would think more people would have caught on by now. But unfortunately no such luck.

Lost interest with this guy over a month and a half ago when it was clear he was chasing the biggest NIL deal. Not sure we’ve kept giving this thread so many follow ups. Be glad when he announces for a SEC school on the 18th so everyone will focus on someone else.

That's one of the major concerns with this transition of NIL of incoming freshman to current players on the roster. Lots of hurt feelings. I'm not sure TVD even makes a million a year.

I'm in the same boat with you. However, unfortunately this is the day an age we're in with college football. In addition, this generation seems more like they want instant gratification. We are going to have to basically recruit our whole team every year. Especially the top players...

I'm not arguing that the current system was the answer. I've been watching since the late 70's and the sport has really went downhill the moment they introduced the BCS and big money got involved. Like all things it touches money and greed corrupts. The SEC was the first to really dump large...
