Official QB Jaden Rashada: COMMITS… & then Flips to the gator… & then the gator welches on the payments so he doesn’t enroll and rescinds NLI

It's not the answer but at least it's a disruptive force that gives Miami (paired with a new financial and institutional commitment that didn't previously exist) an opportunity to get back in the game. Change is coming and then it will be followed by more change. That's my perspective and I'll...

Have you been watching the Bama era of CFB??? This has been happening and trending since waaaayyy before NIL. It will continue to evolve, and yes, probably fracture. But that's been in the works for YEARS. Just look at the trending to super conferences over the past few years.

I don't see how the Supreme Court ruling regarding NIL should have nothing to do with the NCAA's ability to re-impose some transfer regulations.

It definitely could help from a structural perspective in terms of ensuring the deals are handled with proper legal attention and sophistication. Already having an infrastructure through which to operate is huge. I'd bet A LOT of schools are behind the 8-ball on that front

NCAA reimpose transfer restrictions to start. Regulation always follows whether it is NCAA, state legislature or Congress

I agree that reinstatement of the 1-year transfer rule can serve as a good stabilizer. I don't agree with much else of your post. You think an influx of money into the sport is going to result in its demise? It'll change and it is changing. And it has been changing for years. There's just a...

UM fans need to realize that the emergence of a new frontier benefits those that (1) aggressively pursue its value; (2) are well capitalized; and (3) are structured in approach. Very fortunately, that seems to be UM right now. I can't believe how many posters are spooked by this golden...

And whatever the total sum number is, I'm pretty sure it will not be fully guaranteed, will be broken up by years, and will be tied to thresholds to meet

I'm cool with it because the University of Miami has the benefit of being in Coral Gables, a small and affluent municipality with a population of under 60,000 people while still being in arms reach of all that the City of Miami and surrounding areas have to offer. Other schools can try to...

Why do we need to stop stereotyping against schools in smaller areas? Does the narrative not serve the University of Miami Hurricanes football program’s bottom line?
