I watched both games as well. L'Ville did not look better. There was NOTHING about their performance that stood out relative to ours. Their passing game was better, but they also passed a lot more and with lower completion percentage. They also got a lot of yards on two long completions...

How was LVille's opening performance better than ours? They played WKU, we played UAB, fairly equivalent teams. They beat WKU by 14 we beat UAB by 17. The yards gained and yards given up were almost the same for both games.

What about Louisville's performance against WKU indicates they are so much better than we are? UAB (9-5 last year, returned most key starters) is fairly equivalent to WKU (9-4 last year)...WKU did beat UAB in a close game last year (20-13). LVille beat WKU by 14 (35-21)....we beat UAB by 17...
