Give me more 22 personnel looks with what we got. Have 2 of Mallory/Arroyo/Skinner on the field. Have Knighton and 1 of Parrish/Thad on the field. Split one TE out here, split both out there, have both in at other times. Have Knighton line up all over the place. One play he and the other back...

Hopefully Gattis still has a hot enough name to find a HC job after this year, but I feel like Ponce just slides into the OC role if that happens and I worry about our passing concepts at that point also.

Outside of Rambo and Harely some, our WRs were all forgettable last year. Their forgettable this year. Smith flashed a handful of times last year, but nobody ever stuck out as a clear #3 or as a guy that we really had high hopes for moving forward. It's no surprise they still look like a...

And the current WR's we have now spent how much time with Lashlee and Likens? I'm not trying to defend Gattis. Again, not a big fan of him overall, but I think we're really being selective here when we say look at Rambo under the past staff and how he developed in one year. Why didn't the WR's...

I'm not arguing Lashlee didn't have better passing concepts than what Gattis has shown, but even with the scheme we had last year, and the potential better coaching they were receiving under Likens, none of the guys we have currently ever took hold of that WR3 spot and none were ever close to...

That's been an issue since before Gattis arrived, though. A guy pushed out of OU came here and was our best WR last year and it wasn't close. Harley was a decent WR2 last year, but most of what he did was catch a bubble and YAC it up. Not a single guy from our current WR room was able to ever...

I think it's splitting hairs to say the players get x% of the blame and the coaching gets the rest. The fact is our WR room absolutely needs to improve and our offense needs to do more to help out what we have now. If Cristobal's plan is to run this system his whole tenure, it works if he...

Both are true. Our WRs are mediocre and Gattis does little to help them in the passing game.

NC State was 18th in scoring defense vs FBS competition. They were pretty good. App State was 33rd at 23.1 pts/game, but they obviously play lower level competition. Pitt was 45th with 24.9 pts/game allowed vs FBS. Nobody else on the schedule was top 50.

I never said otherwise, I was just correcting what you said about Michigan and Lashlee's offenses last year.

Michigan scored 35.8 pts per game last year. We scored 30.9.
