    Ok, so for the record, I did take a break from my chess club to go on the football team. First day of practice, a 5 foot 5, 150 lb running back ran over me so hard that I hurt for days. I then realized that I was being sent a message that I had more of a future as a nerd than as an athlete.

    One thing I have noticed in the various Nole posts is how poor their spelling and grammar is. Thats not just the fans, its their maudes as well. Sad that my taxes paid for that level of education.

    The mountains are still gorgeous, the area is still fun to visit, but the city itself is on the decline, crime is up, a lot of homeless, public drug use, etc.

    What I find amazing is how even a disaster can be spinned positively; "Norvell sniffed out he was playing us and sent him home, great job by him", "he commited but he didnt but he did, but he would have if it werent for his teammate dying".
