I think you answered your own question: doesn’t compete

He hopes to be Kam Chancellor, but he isn't. He is more Ray Ray Armstrong than he is Chancellor. Williams doesn't move very well in the back half of the defense. He's better suited at OLB/Striker where his abilities will be highlighted and not be a detriment.

Good for him, because it’ll help drive up the dollar amount. Anyone see a little Ray Ray Armstrong with this kid? Will stay at safety but most likely would be better off playing OLB.
