Jacurri Brown gaining steam as '22 QB

Love the way he carries himself. Great head on his shoulders and wants to compete and get better. Not every one of these high ranked kids gives you that mentality.

Let’s agree to disagree here you absolute **** waffle. It’s clear you don’t understand the finer points of QB play so well just leave it be.

Jacurri Brown gaining steam as '22 QB

You’re lack of knowledge is pathetic. Crazy part is you’re wrong and are still so confident about it. It’s honestly admirable.

Jacurri Brown gaining steam as '22 QB

The fact that you can't grasp the concept as to why it is impressive is a sad sad sad thing.

You're like Paul George after Dame hit the game winner from deep over him

Jacurri Brown gaining steam as '22 QB

Oh I agree. In my first post I referenced the fact that it was at least in a spot only the receiver had a chance to make a play on it. That's exactly how you coach it. Give your guy and only your guy a shot to catch it. Would it have been nice to hit him in stride and he keeps going for a TD...

Which all circles back to the original point of it's an impressive throw, allbeit not an entirely accurate one, for a HS Junior to make.

Jacurri Brown gaining steam as '22 QB

Again the point isn't that this was a pin point accurate ball. It was that a HS kid, with pressure in his face, off his back foot was able to get the ball to the receiver. Accuracy isn't what the original point was about, it was arm talent. No matter what you think about his accuracy, there are...

So you just decided you're not going to account for the yards it covered from the hash mark to the sideline the ball traveled? Lol He's standing on the left hash and throws the ball in the air to just about the 20 right on the sideline. It's like you'd rather be argumentative than accept the facts.

It traveled 50 or 60 total yards. 6-7 yards separating the hash marks, and from hash mark to sideline is roughly 23 yards. Throw was thirty yards down field plus had to cover thirty yards distance from hash to sideline. Roughly 50-60 yards.

Jacurri Brown gaining steam as '22 QB

Correct me if I’m wrong but on that hash mark making that throw the ball travels roughly fifty or sixty yards off his back foot with pressure in his face. Obviously you’d like it to be more accurate but he did put the ball somewhere only his receiver had a spot to make a play on it. An NFL guy...

Jacurri Brown gaining steam as '22 QB

Just posted a twitter video of him with hats in front of him and when asked when he wants to make his decision he said likely before March 31. With him coming to visit over the weekend, gotta think that bodes well for us here.

Saw something about him and Bond coming to visit this weekend I believe? Hoping a commit comes shortly after.

Jacurri Brown gaining steam as '22 QB

Not fully as a QB. More sold on the athlete portion of his game than him becoming a legitimate viable QB. Im cool with the take either way as these kinds of kids are like lotto tickets and some day you're bound to get lucky with one. After taking TVD and Garcia in the last two classes, this is...

Jacurri Brown gaining steam as '22 QB

Not the QB I want for this class but I’ll support him if he does commit. Hoping this year he develops as a passer.

Jacurri Brown gaining steam as '22 QB

I definitely agree that the offense looked great with Cam and Marshall running it as well. I guess it comes down to personal preference. I prefer to have the QB that can throw us out of trouble if we face stacked boxes and they aren't Kaaya standing back there in terms of mobility. I wouldn't...

Jacurri Brown gaining steam as '22 QB

To be honest, a good portion of my wanting Braedyn Locke as badly as I do has a great deal to do with the fact that I see some similiarity to Buechele's game in him (think he could be a better passer but still) and think of what he would do in Lashlee's offense.

Jacurri Brown gaining steam as '22 QB

While this is true, Lashlee's offense seems to runs most efficiently with a guy that is a good to great passer that has ability to make things happen with his feet. Shane Buechele made that offense look **** near unstoppable at times. If Brown can even become a moderate passer, he'd be a great...

Not impressed with his work as passer. That completion percentage of 47% is not what I want to see out of a HS QB. With that said he may surprise with another year to learn and develop so who knows. If it's up to me, just give me Braedyn Locke and call it a day (unless we can get Maalik 👀).
