If he tried to hold Manny up for a DC title then I don’t blame Manny for that. It would tie our hands next year and creates other issues with other highly qualified coaches on staff.

This is true and this needs to be sorted through because it’s bizarre. He said he was DC when he got the job. Now there’s a Co-DC. He wasn’t getting that at Miami and if he was pushing for that then good for Manny. It would’ve tied his hands on bringing in a legit DC.

Banda left a Safety coach job at Miami to be DC at Utah State. TWill left a LB coach job at Miami to be DC at UCF. I don’t see an issue with any of it. Is Utah State really that much better of a job than UCF??? I’d rather be at UCF than Utah State.

I love these arguments trying to turn it on Manny because the LB’s coach accepted the DC job at UCF and then they try to make it like he essentially chose the UCF DC job over the Miami DC job even though he wasn’t offered the UM DC job.

Lateral means it’s an equal or sideways moving situation. You mean he thinks it’s a step up to take a DC job at UCF and I can’t blame him.
