    There is a distinction if the Head Coach doesn’t know that the assistant is leaving and then he leaves after signing day vs a Head Coach waiting until after signing day to fire a guy. Now, if you are saying that a HC knows a guy is leaving and keeps it silent to recruits until after signing...

    That’s a big issue right there. They won’t turn down the Kohler Toilet Bowl and there is no one on the otfensive side of the ball who calls plays.

    I could possibly see 1 position coach, like Barry, scapegoated here but I can’t say that with confidence. I don’t think anything happens to the coordinators.

    Agree. But that’s after early signing day. LCE’s point of turning down the bowl game makes sense. We aren’t getting many more practices, the practices will be lead by corching gawds, and like OGH said, sticking this class with coaches they didn’t sign up for would be bad for obvious reasons.
