Any if you guys remember this song about Miami?

I linked to what I posted in 2019 on page 18. I didn’t include Jay-Z, but I liked his songs over Nas, too.

Good post, my preference just differs on Nas. I'm not a huge fan of Eminem (early or late career) and some people think that's crazy. I recognize his lyrical talent, of course, but I just didn't like most of his tracks.

Nas is very good, I’m not dissing Nas. I’m saying his catalogue severely fell off. When you listen to Nas, is any of it post-2003? Serious question. He’s put out a lot of stuff and I’m just not a fan of his new ish. I don’t think that way about Pac, Jay-Z, Jadakiss, Styles P, etc. All...

Nas doesn’t crack my top 10. Name me some good Nas songs since 2003. He started off great but he really tailed off. A similar career trajectory in my opinion as Lil Wayne.

Good list but N.W.A., Bone Thugs, and 2 Live Crew are somewhere in my top 10 of rap groups. I’m also a big Mantronix and World Class Wreckin’ Cru fan (which Dre and DJ Yella were part of before N.W.A.). Oh and Children of the Corn is in my top 10 of groups.

Awesome story. Styles P was on my top 10 list as #10. I love his in-and-out songs with Jadakiss. Few rappers even attempt that style but it harkens back to Run DMC and the 80’s which I’m nostalgic about. I was big into Miami Bass and it doesn’t get the credit it deserves, IMO. To this day...

I’m going to have to start educating these young bucks with old skool jams they never heard before like this:

    The Golden Age of Hip-Hop

Not sure if you saw my list or someone else’s. I clearly have 2Pac, Biggie, Big L, and Rakim in my top 5.

What's wrong with Fab? He falls just outside my top 5 of all-time, he did commercial jams and also kept it street with his freestyles. Here was my Top 10 I posted last year. It's always a bit in flux, but I stand by my list...

It definitely is the best in my opinion because it didn't just go hard the full album. You had songs like "Checkout Time" and "All About U" which are so **** smooth and have that party vibe but then you have others like "No More Pain" and "Ambitionz as a Ridah" that are just ruthless. "Life...

Any of you heard this from '88? This song makes me want to slowly cruise in a tricked out 190 Mercedes with two 12's down the block.
