I doubt it. If Harris leaves after this season that leaves us with just four. And one of those four is Burns.

I love him as a player. I think he’s elite. I’m just saying he’s a different kind of player.

All I’m saying is I’ve seen him be chased down from behind on plays where guys like Chaney and Knighton would have been gone.

Another aspect here is getting him back on board so early. This can have an impact with some of the other local guys, especially his teammates.

He compliments the guys that we’ve been recruiting the last few cycles really well. Doesn’t have the home run ability of those guys but runs downhill with aggression.
