Question: If the ACC expands…. Does that mean the GOR is on the table for new negotiation? I assume the TV contracts would be.

Add Stanford, Oregon, Washington along with ND? Or even 2 more to get to 20 like Oklahoma State and Baylor or TCU?

I just want in one of them. Prefer SEC but will be happy as **** to be in B1G (especially if ND in it too). My worry is not getting in either one…

I do think the SEC is going to be butt hurting ND goes B1G. That might make the B1G stay in front of theSEC when it comes to TV money. I know the SEC would still be traditionally stronger. But I’m talking TV money here.

If the SEC and B1G stay pat for a while. And, the ACC somehow convinces ND to join (add Stanford as well or whatever it takes to get them) would the ACC somewhat survive this? I know this is highly unlikely. I’m just thinking outside the box as I’m concerned about Miami being left out of those 2.

Here is the way I see it. The SEC is the strongest but the B1G did close the gap adding the LA schools. And they can immensely close the gap more if they can get ND. Adding Miami in addition to ND would really help the B1G with a strong foothold in south Florida. Now, the SEC is not going to sit...

SEC in Miami with games in Miami seems like it could help the other SEC schools that don’t recruit well in south Florida. SEC really should be wanting Miami. And I would think the B1G in Miami would be a bad thing for the SEC.

That’s the worst nightmare. Hopefully, Miami’s location being in south Florida will be enough reason for either: A.) The SEC takes us as to block the B1G from getting into Florida (south Florida none-the-less) Or B.) The B1G takes us because the SEC attempts to make us irrelevant but the B1G...

And right now it’s about survival (if you aren’t already in one of those two conferences). Gotta put feelings and wants aside. Miami’s primary goal needs to be entrance into one (regardless of fsu or anyone else).

Which do you think they feel is the lesser of 2 evils for them?

That’s my thinking and hope. I mean, I’d be fine with B1G. But I prefer SEC. What scares me is not getting in either.

I hope they both go B1G. Leaves more of a chance we get in SEC.
