Agreed with the statement about 3 Sons. For what I've of local breweries they are in my opinion the best anywhere south of Cigar City in Tampa. Invasive Species is next on my list to visit. I actually had one of their collabs with 3 Sons and I was impressed.

I like their IPAs much better. I'm not a huge sour guy but I like their sours as well.

I've had some of their stuff and it is pretty dang good. My favorite is 3 Sons Brewery. Not only do they have killer brews, they have a helluva kitchen too. Great beer and great food is hard to beat and the staff is cool too.

I'll have to check them out. I didn't know they existed. The only other one I knew of was Craft Beer Cartel and when I went there it seemed all but picked through without a lot stuff available.

100% agree Jai Alai is better but until recently wasn't as available as Bell's. Cigar City is a top notch brewery and one of my personal favorites.

I hear you. Do you have a good local supplier? That's one of the other issues I have. There aren't any local homebrew shops in South Florida and it's hard to tell how fresh or what the quality of the stuff you're ordering online is going to be. Also what is/was your go to yeast for IPA? I'm...

I don't know what they have but if you're looking for another good heavy stout the Goose Island Bourbon County ones are definitely crazy good. If they have The Last Buffalo in the Park that's my favorite from our local Funky Buddha brewery down here. If you're looking for a killer IPA Cigar...

Some. Not as much as I'd like to. It is a lot of fun and I love doing it. I do 5 gallon batches and bottling is a *****. I think 2021 is going to be the year of a homemade kegerator.

Brewing a good home IPA is very tricky. Most of the brews I've made get better with age. The issue is, a good IPA needs to be drank while fresh. I think I'm going to stop using the 60 min bittering additions of hops and start dumping more in the whirlpool stage to see if that helps.

What's your normal go to style (IPAs, Stouts, Wheat, etc)?

Bell's Makes a lot of good stuff. Their Two Hearted Ale is a staple in my fridge. Edit: speaking of which, I should try home brewing a clone of it to see how it turns out.
