I'm not saying to appreciate Torretta, I'm saying blame Erickson. Alabama had 8 men in the box all night long and he didn't do a single thing to adjust. He didn't try to come up with a unique game plan, he treated it like just another game.

Torretta wasn't the reason we lost that Sugar Bowl. Dennis Erickson got lazy and complacent. When he was asked what kind of planning he was doing, he said nothing, he was going to use what got them there. That game was the beginning of the end for him.
