I’ll be interested to see how this chart looks in 20 more years. 1’s will still win their share but I think more 2-4’s will win and we likely see a 5-8 or two win it. The college game is changing and big dogs getting knocked off earlier and more frequently will create paths for some...

Close...but I think what helps is there are a lot of losses coming in front of us in the rankings with teams playing each other and some desperate teams. Then maybe a few conference tourney upsets early would go a long way. Barring 0-2 (pitt and 1 and done in acc) I think we are pretty set on...

We "should" win but youre right that isnt an ideal match up. A guard who does what he wants and a 7'5 center that can step out and hit threes and block shots.

Amen...I feel like this being a rivalry game FSU will be fired up to put a bad loss on our schedule. But they have lost big to a lot of schools lately. So it looks like they are quitting. But its a rivalry so who knows.

Yeah and that really seems like this year in particular 1-5 seeds (or the so called Favorites) could draw a team thats a horrible match up as soon as round 2...or if you are that 3/4/5 even round 1 like most years.

If the committee is truly doing their job and picked the bracket today we are a 3 seed. If we go 2-1 and 2-1 in the Acc tourney we are a 3/4. If we limp down the stretch we should fall no farther than 5. If we really turn it on we are a 2. But from a fan standpoint let’s just take care of...

We just need to keep winning but 6-12 teams in the country have a lot of tough games left. Keep winning and we could sneak our way up even higher or worst case even one loss should keep us on the 4 range.

I hate looking ahead. So lets just keep taking care of business. But this team with a strong finish could easily sneak into a 2 seed. A lot of shuffling still to be had. But barring a collapse I think 4 is about where we end up.

A 3 seed would be great if we are talking top 5 seeds with a 1/2 likely not realistic. Just talking in general but you typically get an Ivy or mid major then get the winner of the 6/11 game which is usually a P5 team that is super inconsistent and people complain how they got in and then a match...

Couple other quick notes I looked up quick. Providence and Rutgers both ranked. UCF 4-2 in conference with their only losses to Tulane and Houston who are 1 and 2 in the conf. Cornell is tied for 1st in the Ivy, UNC Greensboro tied for 2nd in their conference and Lafayette quietly putting...

one game at a time but boy wouldnt it be great (if my math is right) to be around 18-3/17-4 heading into that Duke game.
