Miami's NFL talent and getting to the next level

Good programs/coaching staffs adapt to the elite player, not take a lesser player because he fits their "system"

Miami's NFL talent and getting to the next level

Sri Not a dynasty when you are second fiddle in your best years IMO. But thats my take...

Miami's NFL talent and getting to the next level

Exactly, almost 20 year old #s for some of the counts. We have the WORST LBers in the ACC right now and our DBs have been pretty bad for over a decade for the most part. SAD.

Simmons was a DB at Clemson for sure.

Miami's NFL talent and getting to the next level

We were the DOMINANT team in that time frame, Clemson clearly is not, Me personally the fact that Bama has been do dominant in the same sport I can't call them a Dynasty, but that's me, it's all how you see it.

Miami's NFL talent and getting to the next level

A "dynasty" covers the entire sport IMO, LMAO @ someone being the "dynasty" of the AFC South or NL Central or some ****. You either run it (Bama with CFB) or you are a good program/team that has the chance to win it most every year but is not the favorite. So yeah for me it's the Highlander...

Miami's NFL talent and getting to the next level

Can you be a "dynasty" if you are clearly second fiddle to another team at the same time? Bama is a dynasty, Clemson is a really good program, but not a dynasty as long as Bama rules CFB

Miami's NFL talent and getting to the next level

I think it is conceivable there will soon be teams that get all 22 starters drafted. Bama is pretty much there now. But yes the talent has swung from the D more to the O. If you have an elite athlete and you have to pick a side you put him on offense now, not defense

Miami's NFL talent and getting to the next level

In the 2017 Bama-Clemson Title game Bama had 19 starters drafted, Clemson 11 In the 2019 Bama-Clemson Title game Bama had 18 drafted, Clemson 15 That's a whole bunch of talent on the field

Miami's NFL talent and getting to the next level

I wonder how we fared vs LaTech recruiting wise when they shut us out in the WhoGivesA**** Bowl?

Do we continually lose to teams we "out-recruit" year in and year out?
