Yep. I'm not even claiming to know if we should offer him. The standard around here for some people is so high you can't even admit a 320 lb. HS OL looks athletic unless you've decided his film is flawless. As if those are even the same question. It's entirely possible he's really athletic...

You sound dug in. I gave my reasons for my comment based on the cip being discussed here. There’s a lot more to athleticism than vertical jump, in any case. Nothing about the size of the kid defending him matters to me, either.

I haven’t viewed enough of his tape to comment. Just commenting on the clip being discussed.

From the clip, it looks like he has good hand-eye, body control, feet, balance and concentration. Just one clip but for a kid that size, that is an indicator of athleticism imo. It’s not the catch, either.

Something missing imo in those clips. He’s big, strong, and has effort. Doesn't seem that fast or explosive, a bit awkward on leverage and balance, finishes blocks but doesn’t look mean. Not dissing him, nice OL prospect but not a pop ou\ff the video kid. Imo.

There’s plenty of warm closer to home.

Hard to see us getting a top OL kid from WA.
