Im not a numbers guy when talking about how good a unit was but watching those games you’ll see that offense was terrible especially for a QB like herbert, maybe not maximizing him is a better way to say it lol but yea…And i don’t think many people has said he wasn’t developed

The offense with Herbert was pretty bad, then the moorehead and gattis hires kinda proves the style of offense Mario likes. Oregon fans say similar things about Mario that Michigan fans say about Harbaugh

Some would say Mario and Harbaugh have similar philosophies and influence on their OCs

Not saying steele is a miracle worker or anything but i have less worries about the defense lol. Going from a gimmicky scheme to a sound scheme is gonna clean up alot on its own. Manny to Steele is a way bigger upgrade than Lashlee to Gattis imo.

This isn’t a good way to measure how good or bad an oc is, it’s gonna happen with gattis and any oc. He should’ve had different ways to convert of course but if we cant pick up a yard vs Georgia Tech then there’s a bigger issue than his playcalling

Im kind of torn with the WR convo, part of me understands we dont have any proven guys there and the staffs actions after spring showed they don’t trust that room…Other side thinks we have talent there even tho they aren’t proven I think they are ready to play and they’re having a harder time...

TVD was great last year but alot of those deep balls were bad throws made good by rambo/bad db play. He loafed a couple and rambo made a play, but he also had some that were just dimes like the one vs FSU backed up against the endzone, my favorite TVD throw so far.
