All it took was one season of Gattis and Ponce to turn the whole room into trash.

Brown has beaten an FBS program though. For real though, Rashada was definitely more of a finished product than Brown. Everyone and their mom knew Jacurri Brown wasn't supposed to even see the field for two years. Jorsh Garttis burned his redshirt because he needed someone to run QB sneaks...

I’m curious how this plays out. Colorado won’t be more talented than every team on their schedule, even with the guys Deon is bringing in. It’s a huge step up in competition too.

He committed to UM. UF offered a bigger bag and he broke that commitment. Then UF broke their commitment to him by not paying what they promised. Everything comes full circle. You play the game, sometimes you lose.

I’m at least a foot taller than feast. But he’s at least two feet wider though.

You gonna tell him? Because I don’t think the self awareness is there to realize his mistake.

He’s actually the 63rd ranked QB in the class. His composite score is tied for 44th but there’s a bunch of other guys who are tied further up the list. He’ll have a shot to move up the boards but he’s already made the jump from unranked to 3 stars just by getting a Miami offer. My point is, even...

247 has Williams in a tie for 44th ranked quarterback in this class. It's unlikely anyone is throwing a huge bag at him. For reference, the guy he's tied with is committed to Georgia State.

Don't bother. People don't really read the posts here or at least the whole post. They just want to throw their two cents in. Everyone and their mom knows that Cook is the better player. Especially now, after he dominated college and is tearing it up in the NFL. But if you went solely on...

Wasn't really my point. My point being, bad high school coaches can still have good enough talent that they win despite the coaching and not because of it.

Eh, there’s a ton of mediocre to poor coaches in south Florida yet we’re still producing D1 players all over the field. A really good quarterback will make a coach look good. Besides, most of these quarterback prospects are getting extra coaching from clinics and tutors. These days you don’t...

I mean, if you have a five star, All American at almost every other position, you can still win the title with an average quarterback.......if your opponent loses not just one but two 1,000 receivers in the championship game. It just seems like it's much easier to have a great quarterback and...

Yeah and no. Is the quarterback who wins the championship automatically the best QB in the nation? Of course not. There's plenty of great QBs on average teams. But, QB is the biggest difference making position in all major sports. A great QB will make a bad team respectable. You rarely see a...

But you’re making the same argument that the “stars don’t matter” guys make. They cherry pick the three star guys who turned into stars and say “see nobody wanted these guys and they’re awesome” while completely ignoring the fact that most of the three star players never turn into much. I...

He’s an SEC reporter. No school outside that conference is worth discussing. I’d take Miami’s QB room over A&M and LSU.

I’m not sure where the “TVD wasn’t a big time recruit” narrative started but he was a consensus 4 star player, the #7 pro style passer in the country and had a higher composite score than Jacurri Brown. He wasn’t the level of recruit that Jake Garcia was but he wasn’t some afterthought.
