Happens with a lot of 9th/10th grade phenoms. They're physically developed as underclassmen but never grow. This is why I tell kids not to let early offers get to their heads. Those coaches are PROJECTING. But if you don't grow and/or get better within the next 2 years, you'll be dropped...

The dude who's at Boca High right now is from Ohio. Coach Angell. He does a really good job. I wonder if he'd be interested in moving a couple exits South to coach Deerfield. I just don't know how he'd gel with the community and culture though. **** is different down here. lol

True... But he was around Deerfield a lot this season. He came by practice, helped us out, spoke to the kids. He's a good dude. I don't know if he'd want the job but I know there's people who'd like to see him take it.

Things were trending downward rapidly. We hit our ceiling 2 years ago when we had an offense with 6 P5 signees and an NCAA Freshman All-American at QB. That was our year to do it. 🤷🏻‍♂️

They absolutely can if they hire the right guy. I heard the principal is a nightmare though. I know if I was looking for a HC gig between those two schools, I would easily choose Deerfield. Their principal is a former college athlete and is all about football.

They want these kids to have blind loyalty to the local program like we do. Why the **** would the kid have UM in his top teams when we were barely recruiting him? I even did both parties a favor and I personally brought Brown and Tarber to a UM barbecue. The coaches barely spoke to the kids...
